And, ok, I don’t have a traditional dining room. But I can call this a dining area at least, because:
a. There is a table that is meant for dining.
b. Much like a traditional dining room, we never use it for dining. Mostly just mail.
So here you go!
We bought a high-top table (at my husband’s recommendation) when we moved into our house a year ago, and I just love it! We have (of course) elephants on the table, which we bought on our honeymoon in Mexico. If you’ve read the other “Show Us Where You Live” posts I’ve done, we have elephants throughout our house, so this is no different!
We got this vase for our wedding. It was one of those things that we didn’t register for, but just ended up fitting into everything perfectly! It’s a Waterford vase too, so I just couldn’t part with it.
The window beside our dining area…I love these windows! All of the windows in our bedroom, the living room, and the kitchen have this molding above them. It’s one of the things I love most about our house, and it makes it where we don’t have to have curtains!
Thanks for stopping by (if you’re from Kelly’s Korner)…and for regular readers, I’ll have up the first (of many) posts about my vacation later!
