Today has the potential to be the perfect day in our house. Seriously.
When I’m trying to explain to Noah how excited I am about something, I equate it to football. If I’m sort of excited, I say, “This is like us going to a good bowl game honey.” Really excited, I equate it to the SEC Championship. And if it’s a huge deal, it’s the National Championship.
Similarly, if Noah’s really excited about something and is trying to explain it to me, he equates it to it snowing in Alabama. It very rarely does, so anytime it is snowing, it is a big deal to me.
So who ever thought both would happen in the same day?
As I am typing this, it has just started snowing outside. We’re supposed to have around 2 inches of snow on the ground by game time. We’ve got friends coming over, I’ll have chili in the Crock Pot in a few minutes, and SNOW. This is huge.
So now, I leave you with pictures from the last time it snowed – March 1st of this year. Granted, it wasn’t much, but it was Hardy’s first snow, and he had a blast. It was fun. 🙂
ROLL TIDE ROLL and COME ON SNOW!!!!
