Ingredients
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 pinch salt
1/2 cup margarine, cut into pieces
1 cup oatmeal
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
6 cups Granny Smith apples – peeled, cored and chopped
2 squirts lemon juice (I used pre-squeezed.)

- 1 cup Flour
- 1/2 cup Brown sugar
- 1/2 cup White Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
- pinch Salt
- 1 stick Butter
- 1 cup Oatmeal
- 1/3 cup White Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon Ground Ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 6 Granny Smith Apples (peeled, cored, and chopped)
- 1 Juice of Lemon
Mix next four ingredients together in a small bowl. Set aside.
Put the apples in the crock pot. Cover with lemon juice, then add the corn starch mixture.
Add oatmeal mixture to the top.
Cook on high for 2 hours, covered. If desired, place under broiler for 5 minutes or so to crisp the top.
Serve with ice cream!
