Missy had to go to the doctor Wednesday for her 2 month check-up.
We had to wait in the waiting room for over an hour…they were way overbooked that day. She hung out most of the time, and didn’t get fussy until the very end. I was so proud of her!
She’s doing great! She is 14 lbs, 2 oz and 23 3/4″ tall. Everything checked out wonderfully and she got a clean bill of health!
Of course, this was her first time to get shots. It was not pleasant. There might or might not have been two of us in the room crying.
She was hysterical – I’ve never seen her cry like that. I think she got so worked up she couldn’t stop crying. Once Noah put her in her car seat and picked her up, she was fine though! She slept the whole way home.
Her poor little shot marks. 🙁 We took the band-aids off this morning. They are a little swollen and she has a tiny bruise on one leg, but nothing too bad.
She did get pretty fussy that afternoon. We gave her some Tylenol and she seemed to calm down…she did get to sleep in Daddy’s arms most of the night, and I don’t think either one was complaining.
Thankfully we don’t have to do that again for a couple of months.
Happy weekend everybody!
