Two big things I wanted to remember from yesterday!
We got this onesie in Alaska, when we first started trying to get pregnant. It was literally the first thing we ever bought for our baby. It sat in our office (now her nursery) through all of the problems we had getting and staying pregnant, and it used to help me to see it and remember what I was working towards. It was so wonderful to see her in it!
Of course, we bought it before we knew whether our first would be a boy or a girl, so we got this thinking it would be pretty gender neutral. WRONG. She looks like the most handsome baby boy I’ve ever seen in it. 🙂 So she doesn’t normally wear bows around the house, but I put one on her with this so everyone would remember she’s a girl…haha!
(After one of those inevitable newborn wardrobe changes…) We also tried the Bumbo seat for the first time yesterday. She’s been doing a pretty good job of keeping her head up when she sits up in my lap, so I thought it might be a good time to try it out. She did pretty well – that head was still bobbling some, so we may hold off a few more weeks, but she actually held it up for most of the time!
