Emma Ramey will be starting school this upcoming fall…and I have to admit, I’m having a blast with it! Buying backpacks, planning after-school treats, thinking about her school lunches – it’s all just so much fun to me.I’ve been on the lookout for things that are going to make both of our lives easier come fall. A couple of weeks ago, I found a really cool lunch divider that is going to let me make the perfect sized lunches for her. So, I’ve been a lunch-planning machine! Here are a few ideas I’ve had for toddler lunches…
(Of course, consult your pediatrician if you’re unsure of whether or not your child is ready for any of these foods. Some foods listed might need modifications (like cutting or mashing) to prevent choking hazard. Some pictured might be more appropriate for older toddlers…again, consult your doctor if you’re unsure. And always check with your school for any allergies before sending these foods!)
*Please consult with your doctor before giving your children any nuts or nut products. Also ensure your child’s school allows nut products before sending in a lunch.
