This post is created by me with help from HONEY MAID Grahams, HERSHEY’S Milk Chocolate and JET-PUFFED Marshmallows. My love of anything S’mores is all my own.
I’m not sure there are many people out there that don’t have a fun childhood memory of making S’mores. It’s just one of those staple summer snacks that has really stood the test of time, and there’s a reason: they’re a ton of fun to make and they are absolutely delicious!
S’mores have now been officially named as the “Official Dessert of the BBQ”…makes total sense, right? There aren’t a lot of desserts that can be made on a summer grill that are as delicious as gooey, rich S’mores! And, with the method I’m going to show you today, they’ll be even easier to make as you host your next outdoor summer barbecue. These would be great for all of your grilling occasions, all summer long!
Making S’mores in convenient foil packs is my fool-proof way of ensuring that your every bit of your S’mores is rich and melty. It also makes for a much easier clean-up…you’ll have less chocolate and marshmallow dripping everywhere as you’re trying to enjoy your treat. Once you start making S’mores this way, you’ll never go back!
Start with your basics: aluminum foil, parchment paper, skewers, HONEY MAID Grahams, HERSHEY’S Milk Chocolate and JET-PUFFED Marshmallows (which now come in this perfect S’moremallow square-shaped variety, just for making S’mores!).
First, I cut the sheets of aluminum foil and parchment paper I’ll need to wrap the S’mores Foil Packs – the foil needs to be somewhere around 12″x12″, and you can make the parchment paper pieces slightly smaller than that if needed (my roll of parchment paper was much wider than the foil I had, so I just cut those pieces in half lengthwise to fit inside the foil squares).
Next, fire that grill up and toast your S’moremallows! This is my favorite part!
Once your S’moremallow is all nice and toasty, assemble your foil packs! You’re just constructing your standard S’mores (HONEY MAID Grahams, HERSHEY’S Milk Chocolate and JET-PUFFED Marshmallows in between) and placing them in the center of your foil & parchment paper pieces. Then, wrap it up by folding in all 4 sides. Make sure none of the parchment paper is sticking out so there’s no chance of any burning.
Pop your foil packs on the grill for 3-5 minutes and remove carefully with tongs once done. Unwrap your foil (which should be cool enough to touch, but carefully test before grabbing it) and serve your less-mess S’mores inside the parchment paper!
These are still perfectly smoosh-able and should be warm and melty (without oozing all over while you’re trying to eat). I’m telling you – this is such an easy and efficient way to make just about the best S’mores ever! Your backyard barbecue guests will thank you.
A huge thanks to HONEY MAID Grahams, HERSHEY’S Milk Chocolate and JET-PUFFED Marshmallows for giving me the inspiration to spread my love of delicious S’mores today! Want to grab more fun S’mores idea to make your summer barbecue extra special? Check out their Facebook page!
